Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology – UICT

In 2005, the school was rebranded as the Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology (UICT) to align with the nation’s vision of becoming a knowledge-based economy. UICT became an autonomous public tertiary institution under the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology & National Guidance. This transformation marked a significant milestone, broadening its mandate to include training in information technology, communications, and digital innovation.
