Eight Tech Consults was contracted by the Uganda Institute of Information and Communication Technology (UICT) to provide consultancy services for the design of a market-driven Audio/Visual training programme and curriculum. The consultancy focuses on conducting an industry analysis to inform the development of a competency-based, modular training programme aligned to industry needs and national training frameworks.
The overall objective of this assignment is to conduct an industry-led analysis of Uganda’s Audio/Visual sector and use the findings to design a market-driven, competency-based training programme and curriculum aligned to current and emerging industry needs.
Specific Objectives
- Conduct an industry analysis identifying current trends, skills gaps and future requirements for the Audio/Visual sector
- Design a comprehensive reskilling program tailored to the Audio/Visual industry
- Develop a detailed curriculum that integrates modern educational tools and methods, meeting both local and global industry standards
