The Establishment of an Online (Mobile And Web Based) Community Dash Board for CEHURD

This Project basically involved the provision of services which led to the establishment of an online community-based dashboard for CEHURD. The assignment involved a deeper analysis and review of information requirements for decision-making, an understanding of current and future data sources and their associated structure, analysis of CEHURD technology architecture and strategy among others.

The general objective of the assignment was “To develop and deploy a community dashboard to be utilized by grassroots community groups to identify, document, and report SRHR and health rights violations in real time”.

The following tasks were achieved;

a) Definition of user requirements for the community dashboard (user requirements Engineering) in line with the JAS program and CEHURD’s institutional mandate

b) Design, development, testing, and deployment of a web-based community dashboard on which SRHR/health rights violations/complaints will be uploaded.

c) Building the capacity of CEHURD staff to manage the dashboard.

d) Conducted end-user training for Community Health advocates on using the community dashboard including evidence generation, documentation, and reporting through the system

e) Defined the software, hardware and human ware requirements for the proposed community advocacy dashboard based on the latest technology, national and international technology standards

f) Developed video tutorials and other self-help tools on the use of the community dashboard

g) Conducted specific training to relevant staff and partners including CHAs

The team successfully handed over the project to the CEHURD team upon successfully delivering all the deliverables
