The Establishment of an Online (Mobile And Web Based) Community Dash Board for CEHURD

This Project basically involved the provision of services which led to the establishment of an online community based dash board for CEHURD. The assignment involved a deeper analysis and review of information requirements for decision making, understanding of current and future data sources and their associated structure, analysis of CEHURD technology architecture and strategy among others.

The general objective of the assignment was “To develop and deploy a community dashboard to be utilized by grassroot community groups to identify, document and report SRHR and health rights violations in real time”.

The following tasks were achieved;

a) Definition of user requirements for the community dash board (user requirements Engineering) in line with the JAS program and CEHURD’s institutional mandate
b) Design, development, testing and deployment of a web-based community dash board on which SRHR/health rights violations/complaints will be uploaded.
c) Building the capacity of CEHURD staff to manage the dash board.
d) Conducted end user trainings for Community Health advocates on using the community dash board including evidence generation, documentation and reporting through the system
e) Defined the software, hard ware and human ware requirements for the proposed community advocacy dash board based on the latest technology, national and international technology standards
f) Developed video tutorials and other self-help tools on the use of the community dash board
g) Conducted specific training to relevant staff and partners including CHAs

The team successfully handed over the project to the CEHURD team upon successfully delivering all the deliverables
